about

A collection of intimate songs of love and the sea bringing the electrifying energy of firefly burning's live performances onto record.

From the folky pop of 'Lady Laurie' which evokes the muggy haze of a London summer night, to the epic seascape of the North Cornwall coast which colours the heartbreaking ‘Little Boat’ and the minimalist fantasy, ‘Arthur and the Great Element’, the cycle of songs draws on a wide range of influences. With a line-up of Javanese gamelan, guitars, cello, violin, voice, gongs and piano, the soundworld is constantly varied with song-craft at it's heart.
